Event security in Sydney CBD: numbers, licences and booking right

The numbers, honestly

Where nothing is prescribed, the industry plans from a starting point of around one licensed guard per hundred guests, and events with alcohol commonly plan two crowd controllers for the first hundred patrons plus one for each additional hundred. These are planning conventions, not laws, and risk moves them: a late finish, ticketing queues, cash on site, multiple entries. What moves the price here

Guard numbers, hours counted honestly from bump-in to wind-down, and timing, since most events land on weekend nights, which carry the biggest loadings. The four hour minimum applies per guard. City availability tightens hard around major event weekends, so two to four weeks of notice buys you choice, and inside 48 hours costs a priority loading.
